In 1996, global leaders agreed on Millennium Development Goals to improve the lives of the world’s poorest people by 2015. Central to these goals were halving extreme poverty and ensuring universal primary school education for all. As we approach the 2015 deadline, new goals are to be set and the UK government can help shape decisions that will change thousands of lives. But they will only act if they know you, the voter, is watching their every move.
EveryChild strongly believes that those in poverty, especially vulnerable children, should be consulted on decisions that affect their lives.
We’ve been building support among MPs and an Early Day Motion that all MPs can sign has been submitted in support of EveryChild and the need to include children without parental care in new development goals. Now, your voice is all it takes to build support – having your say only takes a few minutes.
Act now – it's quick, easy and free!

2. Write your letter into the message box. Something like:
“I call on the Government to ensure that the security of family life is provided for vulnerable children without parental care in the international framework that will replace the Millennium Development Goals. I also request that you sign EDM 114, supporting the work of EveryChild.”
