Sevil was just eight years old when she was abandoned by her mother. She spent four years in a large institution in Georgia. The conditions were so appalling that EveryChild closed it down. Sevil’s mother was still not able to care for her so, thanks to the support of Guardians, EveryChild found Sevil a place in a small group home with two adult carers to look after her and five other children. Sevil is now confident and outgoing, and enjoys going to school and playing with the other children she lives with.
Sevil is just one of the children EveryChild Guardians have helped. But there are many more that need your support.
