EveryChild supporters have been calling on governments and international donors to recognise the right of every child to grow up in a loving family environment in advance of the UN Summit starting 22nd September in New York. Here world leaders will gather to map out how they can meet the Millennium Development Goals (MDGS) by 2015.

In India EveryChild is working to end the discrimination, abuse and exploitation children from low caste communities routinely face. These children, like millions around the world, are not accounted for by the MDGs. Working away from home and dropping out of school means they often slip through the net. Yet these marginalised children are the ones who would benefit most from the realisation of the MDGs.

> It is crucial we make our voices heard now as world leaders are currently engaged in a major review of progress against the MDGs culminating in a United Nations Summit in the autumn. Sign up to take action now
