Become an EveryChild sponsor

At EveryChild, we believe that all children have the right to a happy childhood, cared for by a loving family and free from poverty, violence and exploitation. For as little as £15 per month, just 50p a day, being an EveryChild sponsor is your opportunity to learn first-hand how your support is helping children enjoy their right to a childhood.

As a sponsor, you will have a one-to-one link with a child participating in one of EveryChild’s sponsorship projects. You will receive two communications a year - either from the child you sponsor or from someone writing on their behalf, such as a project worker. You can write to the child you sponsor or even send them a message through our website. The children really enjoy hearing from sponsors and messages are shared with family and friends. You will also receive annual project updates which will give you an insight into the issues faced by the community where the child you sponsor lives, and how your support is making a lasting difference. Our ChildWorld magazine will tell you about how your support is helping EveryChild to improve the lives of other vulnerable children across the globe.

 

Our sponsorship projects take place in communities where EveryChild is: 

> Keeping families together by helping families to raise a sustainable income and supporting them in looking after the children in their care

> Keep children safe by helping them to understand and claim their rights through basic lessons and fun activity in centres which provide the space for children to play and enjoy their childhood

> Making sure children are heard by empowering children and their communities to speak for themselves and take part in decisions affecting their life

As well as having a unique connection to the child you sponsor, all of the children in our projects worldwide will benefit from your kind support.
 
EveryChild works to stop children growing up vulnerable and alone. Many of the children we work with are in very fragile circumstances, such as those living on the streets or in families at crisis point. It is not appropriate or feasible for all of the children we work with to be sponsored. For this reason, we distribute the donations we receive from EveryChild sponsors to all of our projects across the world. This means your support is benefitting not only the child you sponsor, but is also making sure other children who are in need of immediate help are not forgotten. > Sponsor a child now!
