Supporters, staff, organisations and celebrities honoured at EveryChild awards.
EveryChild hosted a very special lunch at the Lansdowne Club in London to honour our ‘10 for 10’. The lunch saw visitors from Moldova, Russia, Ethiopia, Malawi and India meet with EveryChild staff and supporters, and a very special showbiz couple, to share stories and experiences of working with and supporting children without parental care.
Our 10 for 10 award winners were celebrated as part of EveryChild’s 10th anniversary and include supporters in the UK, businesses that have raised vital funds and our profile, staff members working with communities overseas and people who have overcome difficult childhoods or family-lives to devote themselves to helping others. Among our 10 are EveryChild patrons Sir Bruce and Lady Forsyth. The couple have made a significant contribution to raising awareness of EveryChild and were delighted to receive their first ever joint award!
Lady Forsyth said, “Really the award should go to people like Anna who work every single day to do something good for the charity and I think it’s wonderful what they do, by trying to bring families together. I think it’s a great job they’re doing and I would like to congratulate them on their 10th anniversary.“
Bruce also added, “We’ve never received an award together before. It’s a great occasion.”
