Over the weekend of 16-18th September 15 keen walkers from the London office of Tokio Marine Europe Limited are taking part in the Jurassic Coast walk to raise vital funds for EveryChild and our project work in Tanzania. The Jurassic Coat is England’s first Natural World Heritage Site and the landscapes are truly breathtaking. The trek starts at Durlston Head on the cliffs above Swanage in Dorset and finishes at Durdle Door, taking in the history and staggering scenery of the South West Coastal Path along of the way.
Tokio Marine Europe Limited has been a corporate supporter of EveryChild since 2007. The company has been supporting our work in Eastern Europe, particularly in Romania and more recently in Moldova where we have been able to formalise the national foster care system so that 50,000 children can now be properly and safely cared for by foster care parents. In 2011 Tokio Marine began supporting EveryChild’s work in Tanzania to keep children in their families, protect those who are living without parents and reunite children with their families and communities. The staff at Tokio Marine are hoping to raise £5000.00 through their participation in the Jurassic Coast Walk, all of which will be spent directly on our work in Tanzania
