Tokio Marine Europe became an EveryChild corporate partner in 2007. The company has been supporting our work in Eastern Europe, particularly in Romania and, more recently, in Moldova where we have been able to formalise the national foster care system so that 50,000 children can now be properly and safely cared for by foster care parents. The employees at Tokio Marine are incredibly committed to the partnership and continue to raise money by taking part in a variety of events such as the London Marathon, the Three Peaks Challenge, quiz nights, dress down days and cake sales in support of EveryChild.
‘Tokio Marine Europe is delighted to be a corporate supporter of EveryChild, helping to raise much needed funds to support its work with vulnerable children around the world. The relationship between Tokio Marine Europe and EveryChild has been a rewarding one. As a result we have been able to focus our charitable giving on an organisation that works on issues we feel highly passionate about, and have helped to ensure that less children experience the trauma of growing up without the care and security of a family environment.’
