Sign up for e-updatesOn Sunday, Cold Feet and Spooks actress Hermione Norris highlighted EveryChild’s life-changing work in rural Malawi for BBC One’s Lifeline programme.
With the aim of raising funds and awareness for EveryChild work Hermione visited one of our projects and witnessed how EveryChild supports vulnerable children growing up without parents in one of the world’s poorest countries.
Many of the children in this film are being cared for by relatives, such as elderly grandparents, while others have given up their childhood to look after brothers and sisters. Through childcare centres, these children can enjoy learning and playing in a safe environment as well as have a nutritious meal and gain a head-start on their education.

We would like to thank Hermione for supporting this appeal and raising awareness of EveryChild’s work with vulnerable children and their families across the world. We hope Lifeline will provide a bit of insight into the work we do here at EveryChild.
