Al Jazeera broadcast EveryChild Moldova's work
On 7th April the international news channel Al Jazeera English broadcast a short news feature on Moldova's children institutions. The article focused on EveryChild's work and featured an interview with Stela Grigoras, EveryChild Moldova's Country Director.
Presented by Al Jazeera's Barbara Serra, the piece highlighted the childcare reforms in Moldova which were announced by President Vladimir Voronin last year. These reforms are in part thanks to EveryChild's ongoing work and will see the old style institutional system of childcare replaced by family-based alternatives, which place the child's best interests at the heart of the decision making process.
