"I decided to run the 10k run for EveryChild because I wanted to do something that I'd find challenging. The first 5 kilometres were relatively easy however the second half was slower and more difficult.
Thinking about the children that will benefit from the money I have raised kept me going. The feeling after crossing that finish line, having run all the way, was second to none! I could almost hear the children all around the world cheering me on.
This is without a doubt the most fulfilling thing I have done for a very long time." Buchi Onwugbonu
Flora London Marathon 2007
Neil Ingledew was the first of our 16 runners to make it across the finish line in the Flora London Marathon 2007.
"I have raised over £ 1200 pounds for EveryChild and as usual, I'm humbled by everyone's generosity and faith in my ability to complete the Marathon...What a great race, the chance to run on some of the most famous streets in the world and pass some of the most iconic buildings. Only in London.
My time: 3:31:06. The PB is safe for another year. It will fall next year though!
Thanks to everybody who has supported me, I can't really express in words how much it means!"
"I just wanted to say thank you so much for all your support whilst I was training for the marathon. I am so glad I completed the 26.2 miles and that I have helped to raise money for such a worthy charity.
Thank you to all of the EveryChild supporters who were on the route - it helped so much with motivation. Who knows, I might even do it again next year!!" Angela Angeli
"I was nervous to begin with, but the instructors were fantastic and made me feel really safe. It was definitely one of the best things I've ever done!" Katie Roberts
"I opened my eyes and WOW! It was amazing! We were above the clouds and it was like we were floating rather than falling. It was a truly surreal and remarkable experience." Vijai Haria

"I've had an amazing year fundraising for EveryChild and trying to become fit enough for the Great Wall of China Trek. I've organised events, produced a recipe book and asked everyone I know for their money!
Trekking on the wall was a dream come true for me and it definitely lived up to my expectations. It was even better knowing that fulfilling my dream was also helping lots of vulnerable children across the world. I would recommend this experience to anyone." Margaret Leach
"A great trip, well organised and fully equipped. The team were wonderful and helpful at all stages. Thanks."
Mary McKittrick

"Fantastic, brilliant, amazing! But it was much more challenging than I expected. But staff made it possible to achieve. A wonderful experience that I'll never forget. Thanks to all involved"
