Why does EveryChild campaign for change?
Last year some of EveryChild’s biggest successes came about as a result of campaigning for changes to policies and practice that will transform the lives of many more children than we could ever reach directly. We helped reform childcare services in Moldova and Ukraine, we tackled violence against children in Guyana and helped bring safe justice and policing
to children in Ethiopia and Malawi.
How can our supporters help us make a difference?
EveryChild’s international advocacy campaigns aim to help raise children’s separation from family high up the international development agenda and create a clear international commitment to reducing the number of separated children.
Take action
We need to persuade the UK Government, the EU decision makers and the UN to do much more to reduce the number of separated children in the world. If you believe that governments should do something about separation then please sign-up here to take action. Over the coming months we will contact you when there are ways you can help at critical moments such as contacting your MP, signing a petition or mobilising support in your area.

A tiny tax on bankers that would give billions to tackle poverty and climate change, here and abroad.
This tax on banks – not you or I - has the power to raise hundreds of billions every year. It could give a vital boost to the NHS, our schools, and the fight against child poverty in the UK – as well as tackling poverty and climate change around the world. Watch the video with Bill Nighy below:
EveryChild is campaigning with a range of other aid and environmental organisations; working for a Robin Hood tax together.
