Millions of children around the world have to cope not just with growing up in poverty, but growing up alone, separated from their family.
For over 25 years, and in over 15 countries around the world, EveryChild has been fighting to protect children without the care of a family, and those at risk of ending up on their own. We work directly with individual children, listening to their problems, and involving them in tackling them. By working with families, communities and governments, we make sure that the simple and practical solutions we put in place to reach and protect vulnerable children will last after we have gone.
Leaving a gift to EveryChild in your Will is one very special way in which you could help ensure that future generations of children benefit from our work and enjoy the childhood they deserve.
After looking after your friends and family in your Will, please remember EveryChild - a gift in your Will could change a child's life forever.
This is also a tax efficient way of giving - your gift will be tax-free, which means more of your money will go to helping children, and it can also reduce the amount of Inheritance Tax you may be eligible to pay. What's more, leaving a legacy or making a Will is easy to do. If you have yet to make a Will, or wish to amend your Will to include EveryChild, request our free Will Guide which guides you through everything you need to know.
“I first became interested in the plight of children in countries outside the UK when I saw on television the appalling conditions in the Eastern European orphanages back in the 90s. Now, 20 years later, the need is still very great. The plight of children throughout the world is quite disturbing in this, the 21st century, and I know that EveryChild is doing fantastic work in many countries. That’s why I decided to leave them a legacy in my Will. I am happy my legacy will be put to good use and in such a manner that many children will benefit. The gift I leave will help EveryChild to continue the excellent work that they are currently doing and also with any future projects that child welfare will require in the world. The world’s children are our future citizens whatever nationality they are. I’d like to think my gift to EveryChild in my Will, in some small way, will help them to a better future.”
