The EveryChild office in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi has reopened, with all staff and children in our care, safe.
The conflict over the region of South Ossetia has died down during the week following a deal brokered by the French President Sarkozy on behalf of the European Union.
The Georgia EveryChild office closed last Friday following fears for staff safety. It has now been deemed safe to reopen and our projects working in Rustavi and Tianeti remain in operation.
EveryChild is continuing to work with UN agencies and government partners.
