"My London Marathon challenge started a year ago, when I just simply got inspired watching it in 2007. Twelve months on, when I crossed over that finish line, I felt such achievement, and proud and honoured that I had managed to raise a great sum of money for such a fantastic charity as EveryChild. It was a fully inspirational day, with so much energy that keep you going to the finish line. Thank you EveryChild for this opportunity."

"Running the London Marathon is something that I have wanted to do for as long as I can remember. It was quite a scary thought, running 26.2 miles but so worth it on the day. I said it was going to be my first and last marathon but, after finishing, I already want to enter next years run! It was the most amazing day ever, the crowd were absolutely brilliant and I really can't describe how good it felt to be a part of it all!"

It has been an honour to run for EveryChild again, knowing that the sponsorship money raised is going to a great cause where real results are felt around the world. Looking forward to seeing you in 2009 - just need to decide on the fancy dress ...!"

"I have been an EveryChild child sponsor for several years now, and could not think of a better charity to support whilst running the marathon! This was my second marathon and I was very emotional on the day, but I knew I had done all the necessary training, and was confident that I'd finish in my predicted time of around 5 hours 15.
I finished in 5 hours 32 which I am ecstatic about, and I am very proud to have represented EveryChild in this event."
