What is child sponsorship?
When you sponsor a child with EveryChild you can help separated children, their families and often their whole communities. For as little as 50p a day, you can make a real and lasting difference to a vulnerable child just when they need it most.
The nature of sponsorship funding means we can commit to making these long-term changes in communities, not just quick fixes. We can plan for the future and give the community stability.
We now have new features on everychild.org.uk to bring you closer to your sponsored child and make your experience more interactive. You can now send messages to your child directly from your profile (once logged in) to keep that special bond.

Sponsor visits can be both rewarding and moving, as you can see first-hand just how much your support is changing children's lives for the better.

Email the child you sponsor
Children love receiving messages from their sponsors, and now we’ve made it even easier for you to maintain this special link. If you sponsor a child with EvC you can now send messages to the child you sponsor directly from our website, as well as make online donations to EveryChild.
Receiving personal messages can make a real difference to the children we work with, and is a great reminder that someone is thinking of them, so we hope you make use of this exciting new function on our home page. Read more

Take action
Last year some of EveryChild’s biggest successes came about as a result of campaigning for changes to policies and practice that will transform the lives of many more children than we could ever reach directly.
We need to persuade the UK Government, the EU decision makers and the UN to do much more to reduce the number of separated children in the world. If you believe that governments should do something about separation then please sign-up here to take action with our take action form.
