ASICS British 10k Run

British 10k logo.jpgOn Sunday 1st July 2007, over 20,000 people ran through London in the ASICS British 10k Run. The race started on Piccadilly and finished in Whitehall after following a route that passed some of London's most famous landmarks.

We were thrilled to have 11 runners taking part for EveryChild - including Batman, Robin and Wonder Woman! Between them, they look set to raise £3000 to help the children and families in our projects around the world.

Cheering our runners on!

British10k2_163by107.jpgOnce again, the EveryChild Support Team was along the route, cheering on and encouraging the EveryChild runners.

This time we were positioned along the Embankment and saw our runners pass us twice - at the 2 kilometre and 8 kilometre mark. It was a great morning and we hope that the runners appreciated our cheers of support!

The EveryChild British 10k Team

British10k3_163by107.jpgAll 11 have spent weeks training for the run and all of the runners completed the event, making it across the finish line in very good times.

We would like to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone on the EveryChild Running Team, not only for running on the day but also for all the preparation and fundraising you have done for this event. Well done!
