BOND (British Overseas NGOs for Development) the UK's biggest network of voluntary organisations working on international development, has appointed EveryChild’s Chief Executive, Anna Feuchtwang, as Vice-Chair.
Anna has sat on BOND’s board of trustees since 2006.
She said: “I feel very honoured to have been elected as BOND's Vice Chair. My commitment to BOND represents my commitment to contribute to the healthy development of the UK international development sector and my belief in our ability to influence change at national and international level.”
Charlotte Imbert, Interim Chief Executive of BOND, said “Anna has made a significant contribution to the Board of BOND and we are delighted that she has been elected Vice-Chair. BOND is the UK's broadest network of voluntary organizations working in international development and Anna has proven that she is committed to promoting and facilitating the cooperation of UK NGOs to work together more effectively and represent the sectors’ concerns to governments and funders.”
Anna has over 13 years experience in international development, working for Oxfam and On The Line before joining EveryChild as Chief Executive in 2004. She has also been Chair of the ActionAid UK board of trustees.
