What we hope to achieve
By establishing an international , EveryChild hopes to form a strong network of civil society organisations, who together able to mobilise knowledge, skills and resources will result in more children growing up within caring families or in appropriate, alternative permanent care.
The lliance will:
• Conduct research to better understand the real situation for children without parental care.
• Promote these research findings to decision makers both nationally and internationally for changes which will reduce the number of children without parental care.
• existing expertise and continuous learning between members, so that they can improve their own practices as well as helping other organisations improve theirs.
The oalition will measure its success by looking at the changes in both policies and practice and by listening to a variety of stakeholders including children, organisations working for children and governments.
