Partnership for Every Child

P4EC is a Russian organisation founded in September 2009 by senior staff from the former EveryChild Russia country office. P4EC focuses on preventing loss of parental care for children and ensuring that where children do have to leave the care of their family, they are protected in a safe, secure family environment in keeping with the provisions of the UNCRC and other international instruments.

P4EC provides families and children with innovative and cost effective social services which meet the individual developmental needs of every child at risk of losing parental care or without parental care. P4EC uses a rights based approach in its programmes combining practical actions, advocacy and constituency building activities to ensure that as many children as possible are benefiting from its inputs in the short, medium and long term. P4EC aims to model best practice in Russia and serve as a centre of excellence for innovative social services that help families to care for their children and meet their individual needs. P4EC works to build a professional network focused on prevention of loss of parental care, ensure that children and parents participate in this network and engage network members in achieving advocacy goals. P4EC aims to make a contribution to reducing the proportion of children without parental care in Russia as a whole, and more directly in St Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast.
